1,040 years in prison for three ETA members
The National Court found the 3 ETA members accused for the terrorist attack in December 30, 2006 produced the Barajas airport in Madrid, guilty.
The National Court sentenced them to the execution of a sentence of 1,040 years imprisonment.
The prosecution had demanded that,Igor Portu, Mattin Sarasola and Mikel San Sebastián, guilty of killing two Ecuadorian citizens, receive a sentence of 1120 years each. However, the National Court has dictated a “milder” sentence.
The three were each sentenced to 1,040 years in prison and to pay 500,000 to 700,000 to the euros families of Carlos Alonso and Diego Armando Estació Palaces, deceased at the time.
