Blast kills six outside a theatre, Russia
A bomb lead to the killing of at least six people and injured about 40 outside a concert hall in Stavropol, southern Russia.
It also led to the killing of five women and a 12 year old girl was killed when it exploded in the street. The device appeared to have a power of about 200-250g of TNT.
The performers returned to the Chechen capital as the concert was cancelled. This act was described as an unprecedented and brutal provocation.
The injured people included Russians, Chechens and Armenians. The Russian media published the names and ages of the dead and injured.
