Watch Germany Vs Uruguay live – third place play-off
The mighty Germans will be taking on underdogs Uraguay to secure third place in the FIFA World Cup 2010. Germany were serious World Cup contenders before the tournament started and their expectation only increased after their demolition of soccer power houses Argentina and England.
However their dreams were shatter a couple of days back by the boys from Spain and Germany will be playing for pride when they take on Uruguay at the Nelson Mandela Bay Staduim.
Uruguay on the other hand are a team that no one expected to get this far. Just getting past the group stages would have been a job well done. Now that they have made it this far, they will be out to prove that they can beat the best in the World.
Miroslav Klose needs to hit the nets twice to surpass Ronaldos tally of 15 World Cup goals. This along with the chance to claim the golden boot is enough incentive for some serious strikes.
