Draw for the Gunners
In their opening Emirates Cup match on Saturday Arsenal were held to a 1-1 draw by AC Milan. New signing Marouane Chamakh showed his efforts in the match despite not being able to win the match for his new club.
His home debut was a fantastic one when he put Gunners ahead in the first half of the pre-season tournament clash. But some sloppy defending from the home side gave Milan the advantage after the break when Alexandre Pato, striked for the Italian visitors.
Andrey Arshavin puzzled the Milan defence when he passed a ball for Chamakh’s strike in the 36th minute.
