The star of Africa, Nigeria takes on Uruguay in todays first encounter at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth. It is also the first quarter finals of the FIFA World Cup 2010, and the two teams playing were not expected to make it this far.
However Nigeria and Uruguay have shown why underdogs should not be taken lightly. They have stunned many teams along the way, including France who were held off to a draw by Uruguay.
Uruguay are expected to win this game, thanks maily to their dynamic team and Ghanas lack of experience. However, it aint going to be an easy ride as Ghana will be determined to turn their first ever quarter final appearance into a semi final appearance.
