Tri-series underway: India Vs New Zealand live

The tri-series involving India, New Zealand and Sri Lanka is underway, with all three teams hoping to find an ideal combination ahead of the World Cup next year.

New Zealand captain Ross Taylor won the toss against in the first ODI and elected to bat first . The pitch has some grass covering and is expected to help the fast bowlers early on. However batting under lights would have played a part when Taylor made his decision.
