Over 20 killed in Ethiopian capital road accident
Apa-Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – At least 20 people died and many other wounded on Saturday in a fatal traffic accident in capital Addis Ababa said city administration policy commission.
The accident happened at 4:30 a.m. local time (0130 GMT) and until 11:00 p.m. (2000 GMT) the death toll was 20, confirmed acting head of the commission Assefa Mezigebu.
He said a mini bus and low bed heavy track clashed, adding that the victims are receiving treatment in various health facilities.
The spot was visited by federal police commissioner Workneh Gebeyehu along with other senior government officials of the city
