Crisis measures:Bulgarian officials are selling their limousines
As it has become too expensive to maintain official limousines for the Parliament uses, they are now out for sale, said Bulgarian Ţeţka Ţaceva , quoted by Novinite.
Bulgarians have decided to sell their limousines in order to cut down the costs associated with transportation.
In an interview aired on BTV, Ţaceva explained that most of the cars used by the Bulgarian parliament officials are in bad condition and 40 of the 165 cars (mostly Mercedes) distributed for Parliament personnel cannot be used anymore.
Therefore, the Parliament will get rid of them as soon as possible. So Bulgarian authorities will come to work in their personal cars.
Even the President of the Parliament drives a 10 year old BMW, provided by the Bulgarian National Protection Service.
