Bad weather in France, Spain and Italy
Locals in Southern France and Northern Spain have experienced weather phenomena far from normality at the beginning of May.
Nisse and Cannes beaches have been seriously shuttered by huge, 6 meter high waves; heavy snow falls caused electricity disruptions in south-west.
Damages caused are consistent.
The unexpected change in weather affected the Spanish as well. In the north-eastern part of the country the traffic was seriously jammed because of the snow falls.
In the region of Catalunia more than 10.000 houses were left without light and heat.
The flood and the harsh winds marked North-western Italy as well. In Sanremo, the waves almost killed 2 persons. They were saved by lifeguards from the turist harbor.
