Israeli Navy killed 4 Palestinians near Gaza Coast
Four Palestinian militants in diving gear were killed by the Israeli military near Gaza Coast.
The Israeli military said their navy forces prevented an attack by what it called “a squad of terrorists wearing diving suits.”
The four men killed are said to be members of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, an extremist offshoot of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah faction.
The incident comes exactly one week after an Israeli commando raid killed nine pro-Palestinian activists.
These types of actions are frequent along Israel-Gaza border since there are militants from various groups trying to lay bombs and fire rockets into southern Israel.
