Israeli PM warns Hamas after rocket attacks
A stern warning has been issued by Israel’s prime minister on Sunday to Gaza’s Hamas rulers after rocket attacks on Israeli communities from the Palestinian territory over the weekend, which caused damaged but no injuries, however.
In response to the attacks, Israel fired series of airstrikes on Gaza militant targets that killed a senior commander of the Hamas military wing.
No group took the responsibility of the attacks and Hamas has refrained because of concerns about Israeli retaliation.
Fawzi Barhoum, spokesman of Hamas, accused Israeli PM of trying to “invent pretexts for new attacks” on them. He said the Israeli government bear all the consequences.
