FIFA World Cup 2010 - Diego Forlan best player
Atletico Madrid striker, Diego Forlan, won FIFA’s Golden Ball being named tournament’s best player. Forlan scored five goals, including two outstanding strikes against South Africa and Germany.
Next to Thomas Muller, Wesley Sneijder and David Villa, Diego also fought for the Golden Boot with five goals – an award Thomas Muller took due to having more assists.
Muller also won the Best Young Player Award, while Spain captain Iker Casillas has gotten the Golden Glove award.
