West Indian devastating all-rounder Kieron Pollard is ready to bat at any position in the strong Mumbai Indian batting line up in the upcoming Champions League T20. Last night Pollard told to the spokesman “I am ready to bat at any position where ever the technical staff wants me to bat. I want to perform well for Mumbai Indians”.In last years IPL Pollard used to come at number seven or eighth position and smashing the ball all around the park neatly. The powerful batter scored 213 runs in just 12 matches with a stunning strike rate of almost 200. He hit 12 sixes and 19 fours to increase the tempo when ever the team required some nasty blows from him. After recovering from an eye injury the big fellow is looking forward for the Champions League T20. He is flying to Johannesburg with his Caribbean team mate Dwane Bravo on September 5 to join the MI team.Apart from a dangerous batsman Pollard bowls slow medium pace and he thinks his injury will not put any effect in his career. He also spoke that one or two practice matches before the tournament is enough to get going. Other IPL franchises in this tournament are MS DHonis’s CSK and Royal Challengers Bangalore. The scheduled venues for the tournaments are Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth and centurion.
