Space Junk May Destroy Communications on Earth
The space is now filled with a large quantity of junk matter that any collision in space can cause a knock on effect which can destroy vital satellites.
Any collision between a satellite and a hunk of space junk can produce thousands of fragments of debris which can also harm and destroy other satellites.
All the satellite related aspects and services are at risk such as television signals, global-positioning navigation, weather forecasting and international phone connections.
Some orbits could be made unusable for both, commercial or military satellites due to the uncontrolled chain reactions.
It is said that the rubbish comes from old rockets and abandoned satellites.
