FIFA World Cup 2010: Quarter finals schedule and teams
The FIFA World Cup enters the quarter finals stage today. Only eight of the 32 teams have survived, they are Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Ghana, Netherlands,Paraguay, Spain and Uruguay. While some of these teams were expected to be here, some heavyweights have missed out, they include Portugal, France and Italy.
Below is the full FIFA World Cup 2010 quarter finals schedule. Times are also in British Standard Time (BST), Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) and Indian Standard Time (IST).
2nd July
Game 1: Brazil Vs Netherlands at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, Port Elizabeth| Time: 16:00 local, 15:00 BST, 00:00 AEST, 19:30 pm IST
Game 2: Uruguay Vs Ghana at Soccer City Stadium, Johannesburg | Time 20:30 local, 19:30 BST, 04:30 AEST, 00:00 am IST
3rd July
Game 1: Argentina vs. Germany at Green Point Stadium | Time: 16:00 local, 15:00 BST, 00:00 AEST, 19:30 pm IST
Game 2: Paraguay and Spain at Ellis Park Stadium | Time 20:30 local, 19:30 BST, 04:30 AEST, 00:00 IST
The winners progress to the semies which will be played on the 6th and 7th of July, before the Grand Final on the 11th of July.
