The Interval Between Birth and Death
It was disillusionment that had transformed Gautama into the Buddha.
The death of his father, led the boy to the path of inquiry, turning him into Ramana Maharishi. It is not possible to understand death, if we don’t understand birth and more importantly, what caused it and why are we here.
It is the well lit zone called life that we pass through from the darkness in the womb of our mothers to the darkness of death. It is a medley accumulated desires, not the man who is born.
If you want to know what comes after death, it is like you want to know what lies beyond the edge of the universe. It is probably because the mind would go into a hibernation mode during this course.
For the near and dear ones, death may be a loss, but for the one who has deceased it is a way to escape from all the pains and sufferings in this world.
