High blood sugar is a major concern among the masses nowadays. Although there are several reasons behind its development, there are two which are considered to be the primary ones.

The first cause is a disorder which keeps the pancreas to secrete adequate amount of insulin in the body. And the second cause is what is known as insulin-resistance.

Complications or so to say harms which can be caused to the affected person include fatigue, weakness, thirsty, more urination than normal, blurry vision and dehydration.

It may also cause electrolyte imbalance which in turn may result in severe falls, which may be pretty devastating, especially in the case of elderly.
