Fans Gather One Year After Michael Jackson’s death
Fans around the world gathered on Friday to mark the first anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death with all kind of candlelight vigils.
In Los Angeles, fans made their appearance at the picturesque Forest Lawn Memorial Park, a star-studded cemetery where the Michael’s golden casket was entombed last September.
Jackson’s fans also planned to go pay tribute at the singer’s family compound in Encino.
On the other hand, in Hollywood, a wax likeness of Jackson was placed on display in front of Madame Tussauds on Hollywood Boulevard, very close to Jackson’s star on the Walk of Fame.
In the meantime, a Jackson tribute event called “Forever Michael” is to be be held at a Beverly Hills hotel on Saturday, with tickets priced at between 150 and 500 dollars.
Members of Jackson’s family are expected to attend the event.
