Quick and Effective Cures for Jet Lag
Jet Lag, one of the worst woes of most travellers who cross time zones! Well, there are three simple and basic and cost effective remedies which can come in handy to counter this problem.
The first remedy is to reset your circadian clock by administering sleep-inducing hormone melatonin. This you must do by timing your exposure to bright light or both.
Then comes adjusting your sleep schedule. After travel, go for short naps, if you feel sleepy, for the first few days. Also, if possible, then shifting your sleep schedule by one or two hours before travel, would also help.
Finally, go for caffeine to help you stay awake or OTC medications for the same or to get some sleep.
