Sentenced to death in China for having stabbed 29 children
A Chinese was sentenced to death after a trial that lasted less than a day.
He was arrested because he had stabbed 29 children and three adults, in an attack at a school in eastern China in late April.
Two teachers were injured and a guard. He used a knife with a 20cm in April 29, when the attack took place .
March 23 to May 12, five similar attacks took place in several Chinese schools without having a connection with each other.
The situation has sparked panic among the population, leading to action on securing schools.
Five of the kids injured by Xu Yuyuan were in serious condition. Xu Yuyuan was dismissed in 2001 from the insurance company that he was working for and has been unemployed ever since.
Witnesses said they were shocked to see those children injured. Blood was sprinkled throughout the class, and some little ones were wounded in the head.
