Greece is shaken by explosions
After a bomb exploded near a prison in Athens, a second explosion occurred in Thessaloniki, in a building which is the headquarters of a court, CNN announced.
Lately, Athens has been dealing with more and more violence.
Local media received a telephone warning before the explosion and the building was evacuated in time. One man was slightly wounded in the leg.
A bomb exploded near a prison in Athens. It was placed in front of supermarket Zalaxias, about 200 meters from Korydallos prison. A 22 year old woman was slightly injured due to broken windows.
With about 27 minutes before the explosion, newspaper and television Eleftherotypia Alter received phone calls warning and authorities evacuated the area.
Such bombings targeting government buildings have become common in Greece.
Prior to the explosion, their authors usually warns media to avoid victims, reports Le Monde.
Police has recently arrested six men suspected of being part of the main Greek extremist group, Revolutionary Struggle, which claimed an attack on Athens U.S. embassy in 2007.
