Black Thursday in Greece

5,000 people have gathered in Thessaloniki. Protesters chanted hostile slogans to the rulers.
Security measures are drastic, considering that the previous wave of demonstrations led to the death of three people . 1700 police officers are deployed only in the capital of Greece. 36 offenders were already detained.
Schools, hospitals, government offices are closed. In Athens, the watchword of the day is jam. Trams, metros and buses are not running. And air transport is disrupted, as traffic controllers have ceased operations.
