India Vs Sri Lanka, 3rd ODI preview | Ishant likely to return
India and Sri Lanka face off the first time in this tri-series in a day night encounter at Dambulla. Sri Lanka are coming into the came on the back of a win aginst New Zealand, while India suffered a 200 loss in the first game of the seires agianst the same opponent.
Both teams have a lot to ponder about before the World Cup in a few months time and both teams have indicated that this series in vital to their plans.
India have some good news after Ishant Sharma recovered from injury, however Ashish Nehra is in doubt. Sri Lanka also has some problems of their own; its not injury, but rather the make up of their team, particularly their middle order and bowlers.
With everything up for grabs, expect nothing less than a cracker of a contest. The pitch is also pretty fresh and has provided assistance to the bowlers, something that pitches in the subcontinent lack. A win for India will leave the series wide open, however a loss will surely put them out of the race.
