Two killed in Riyadh Floods

At least two people died in the floods which have transformed Saudi capital in a Venice spell.

Located in the desert, Riyadh’s has not known such a disaster for 14 years.

Hundreds of people were saved from torrents, getting stuck in cars on the streets full of water. Nearly 300 vehicles were taken by the flood.

Despite the disaster faced by the capital, flight program of the King Khalid airport in the capital has not been affected.

As a result, the authorities decided to suspend classes in schools and several institutions were closed. Meteorologists don’t have any good news and have announced that the continuous rains is to be coming on the next few days.

Neither Kuwait nor Dubai  have been bypassed by the rain, despite the dry season.
