Nigerian President to attend Benin’s golden anniversary
Nigerian President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan will attend on Sunday the 50th independence anniversary celebration of Republic of Benin.
President Jonathan received special invitation from the Benin President Boni Yayi. Counterparts from Gabon, Senegal, Cote d’lvoire, Togo, Chad, Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea and Congo-Brazzaville will also grace the occasion along with him.
The country is also expecting high level delegations from Kuwait, Morocco and France.
Nigeria, along with other African countries, is also celebrating 50th anniversary of its independence this year.
