Netherlands airports reopen
Ireland, Britain and the Netherlands are again affected by the cloud of ash from the volcano in Iceland. 20 airports were closed and London could be paralyzed due to restrictions, reports AFP.
London Heathrow Airport, Europe’s largest in number of passengers, will close for six hours, has announced the British air traffic control service (Nats).
London Gatwick airport will not operate either. Likewise, several airports in northern and central England and Scotland.
However, Manchester, Liverpool, East Midlands, Sheffield, Birmingham and Teeside. Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen were not affected.
Airports in Amsterdam-Schiphol and Rotterdam, reopened
Closed this morning at 6:00 local time because of the cloud of volcanic ash from Iceland, Amsterdam Schiphol and Rotterdam airports were reopened, said the Dutch air traffic control service, according to AFP.
