The Motorola Droid X is on the Market
The Smartphone, Motorola DROID X has been hyped as the flagship smartphone from Verizon Wireless. Now you can check it out for yourself, as it was launched on the market earlier today.

Motorola Droid X
It has an 8 mega pixel camera with High Digital (HD) video recording features and a 1 GHZ processor, as well as a touch screen display of 4.3 inches. You can pick one up for $199.99with a two year contract (after a $100 mail-in-rebate).
The Motorola DROID X runs the Android 2.1 OS and has a new suite of MOTOBLUR widgets for you to amuse yourself with. They include widgets for messaging and social networking, as well as having other functions.
The downsides are that the photos are still not top quality ones, and the DROID X is comparatively large and bulky for a Smartphone. Also it’s difficult to read the display when you are on the move outside in sunlight.
On the other hand it does have good connectivity and the new MOTOBLUR widgets are good news, as is the HD video recording. These probably compensate for its drawbacks.
