Volkswagen Future Taxi
Volkswagen announced that 2013 would be the launching year for the first electrical models.
Until then they have displayed the new Milan Taxi concept at the Hanover Auto Salon.
The new Milan Taxi is an ecologic vehicle based on the UP! future.
It is equipped with only one electric 50kw engine connected to lithium-ion batteries placed under the vehicle’s structural body.
Batteries can be charged at 80%of their maximum capacity in approximately one hour depending on the inner structure of the supply source.
Milan Taxi is 3.73 meters long and 1.66 meters broad. There is a back door located only on the right side for safety and design reasons.
