Chariot of Tutankhamun on display
King Tutankhamun may have died 3000 years ago but a chariot of his has survived the long journey since then. Once owned by Egypt’s King Tutankhamun, it will be on exhibit from next week.
The display will take place at the Discovery Times Square Exposition in New York.
The chariot will travel outside Egypt for the first time.
Dr. ZahiHawass, who is the secretary general of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, mentioned that the discovery of this very chariot is an important piece of the puzzle about Tutankhamun’s death.
They have been working for decades to solve the mystery.
