Asia Cup Cricket 2010: Bangladesh lose Tamim after quick start

Fresh from a much needed rest, Indian captain MS Dhoni will be eyeing the Asia Cup 2010
Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal made an electrifying start scoring 22 of 12 balls before getting out in the second game of the Asia Cup 2010 Cricket tournament against India. Earlier Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan won the toss and elected to bat first. Bangladesh choose to play three seemers – Mashrafe Mortaza, Syed Rasel and Shafiul Islam – and the captain is confident of his sides chances in the tournament.
Openers Virender Sehwag and Gautham Gambhir along with MS Dhoni are back in the side after being rested from the tour of Zimbabwe earlier this month. Suresh Raina, who was captain in Dhoni’s absense also made the starting eleven along with Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
Speaking at the toss, Dhoni said that it was good to be back after a rest and that his team is raring to win the Asia Cup 2010. India’s recent form has been shaky, losing their super eight games during the recently concluded World Twenty20 and losing two ODIs to Zimbabwe. However they fiinished off the tour of Zimbabwe on a high winning both T20I’s.
Hosts Sri Lanka won the opening game of the tournamwent last night despite a valliant effort from Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi. Teams play each other only once, and both teams will be hoping for a win tonight to set them up for the rest of the tournament and improve their chances of playing in the Asia Cup 2010 cricket final.
