Asia Cup 2010 live: Shahid Afridi hundred takes pakistan past 300
Pakistan Captain Shahid Afridi produced some big hitting to take Pakistan past 300 in their last game of the Asia Cup 2010. The captain went past 100 in the 46th over, as the Bangladeshi bowlers were carted all over the park. The hundred was his second of the tournament. It came from just 54 ballsand included 15 fours and 2 sixes.
Earlier in day Afridi won the toss and chose to bath. The Pakistani openers good off to a good start scoring 81 runs for the first wicket. Farhat and Hasan both scored half centuries before Bangladesh pegged Pakistan back with wickets at regular intervals.
Afridi joined Umar Akmal with the score at 176/4. They both piled on the runs with agressive batting before Umar departed for 50.
Pakistan currently have 327 runs on the board and have lost 5 wickets after 45.5 overs. Shahid Afridi is still at the crease on 107, while Kamran Akmal has 6 to his name.
