Abhimanyu Mithun gets rid of Dilshan
After a less than impressive start, the Indian bowlers have struck back with the big wicket of Tillakaratne Dilshan. Abhimanyu Mithun was the one who did the damage and in doing so also picked up his first test wicket.
It was a very well directed bouncer which took Dilshan by surprise and had him hurrying onto the shot. However it was too quick for him and it clipped his glove on the way to wicketkeeper MS Dhoni.
Dilshan was ruthless in his approach, and he along with Tharanga Paranavitana made India pay for anything that was loose. His knock of 25 from 24 balls included six fours and was looking very dangerous when he was dismissed.
Sri Lanka are currently 65/1 from 12.3 overs. Paranavitana has 30 to his name while Kumar Sangakkara is on four. Ishant Sharma is not having a good day and has given away 41 runs from 5 overs.
