Chelsea win Premier League after thrashing Wigan
Chelsea destroyed Wigan Athletic, 8-0 score, the Stamford Bridge in the last event of the season winning the Premier League champion, setting Machester United aside.
United, who only needed a misstep of Londoners in the last act, won, at home, in Stoke City, with a 4-0 score.
Chelsea didn’t give Wigan guests any chance, leading 2-0 at in the first half of the match,goals scored by Nicolas Anelka and Frank Lampard.
Carlo Ancelotti’s men were unleashed in the second half but the match when Wigan played with a man short on the field (Gary Caldwell is removed), and scored six times.
Didier Drogba managed a hat-trick, while Nicolas Anelka, Salomon Kalou and Ashley Cole have all scored.
Manchester United lost the title to one point , yet, Chelsea can make it happen if it beats Portsmouthcan at the FA Cup final at the of the week.
