Women give up on plastic surgery
A study taken in Spain shows that the economic crisis has reduced the number of surgical procedures by 30%.
Because of the economic crisis, more women in Spain have dropped even to plastic surgeries, announces “20 minutes”. A study of the Spanish Society of Plastic Surgery, Aesthetic and Reconstructive (Secpral), reveals that, lately, the number of operations performed in private aesthetic clinics reduced by 30%.
Forecasts for the next period are not too good as the estimated number of plastic surgeries would most probably fall by 50%.
A drastic decrease in aesthetic surgeries was registered in the liposuction and breast enhancement area, while the on the opposite side are the facial liftings.
