According to recent research, chest compressions performed with the hands only is even enough to save a life of a human being. Moreover, in most cases, mouth-to-mouth resuscitation isn’t almost necessary.
The American Heart Association is encouraging the dispatchers and bystanders to use the simple method of “hands-only” chest compression, and they have been promoting this for almost two years now.
