Economic growth slogs

The U.S government on Friday reported that the economy continued to grow during the second quarter. The Commerce Department said the Gross domestic product, grew at 2.4% for the last three months that ended on June 30. But the concerning thing is the slow pace at which the growth is moving.

If this rate continues, economists fears that another recession may be on the card in the months ahead. The rate has slowed from 3.7% in the first quarter to 2.5% in the second quarter.

One of the issues of hopes is that the figure marked the fourth straight quarter
