NSW State of Origin 3 team named, includes four debutants
NSW have named their side for the third State of Origin game against Queensland next week. There have been drastic changes from the team that lost a couple of weeks ago. In all eight changes have been mades, including four debutants as NSW selectors look into the future and a way of stopping Queenslands dominance.
Trent Barrett has been named captain replaced Kurt Gidley, while the debutants include props Jason King, Kade Snowden and Tim Mannah from Manly, Cronulla and Parramatta respectively, and winger Michael Gordon from Penrith
NSW have already lost the series for the fifth consecutive time and selectors will be hoping this team delivers next Wednesday night. Queesnland meanwhile will be hoping for a whitewash in what is expected to be captain Darren Lockyers last Origin game.
FULL team: Jarryd Hayne, Michael Jennings, Beau Scott, Michael Gordon, Trent Barrett (c), Mitchell Pearce, Jason King, MIchael Ennis, Brett Morris, Luke Lewis, Paul Gallen, Kade Snowden,Greg Bird.
Interchange: Kurt Gidley, Tim Mannah, Tom Learoyd-Lahrs, Anthony Watmough.
