Andy Murray to sack coach Miles Maclagan after Wimbledon

After the Wimbledon failure, tennis player Andy Murray has decided to give his coach Miles Maclagan, 35, the sack.

Australian Darren Cahill, who shared success with Lleyton Hewitt and Andre Agassi might be his replacement.

But Cahill is still under contract with adidas, who signed Murray to a five-year $15million contract at the start of this year.

Murray showed his frustration at Maclagan for so many times as he kept losing matches. Nothing changed, so Maclagan is being given the sack.

That’s the same way Andy behaved with previous coaches Mark Petchey and Brad Gilbert, who were both fired.

‘Under the law of the tennis jungle, when results dry up, the main man around the player pays the price,’ said a close source.
