Wimbledon 2010: No English participants in men’s draw
The Grand Slam of grass court has not until now embarked on, however by now a record is broken at Wimbledon. There would not be any English player for the first time in the men’s opening round in the history of 133 years of the tournaments of Wimbledon.
There will certainly be Scottish players though. The number one English player, Andy Murray, is seeded as per his ranking at position number four, despite the fact that Jamie Baker was given a wildcard appreciation to new improved appearance – which comprises of a closing emergence in Glasgow at the beginning of this year.
The choice not to give wildcard entries to the players like the serial letdown Alex Bogdanovic even if is reasonable. Bogdanovic had been abolished in the opening round on all of the eight of his earlier attempts, and at last the Lawn Tennis Association lost the tolerance.
Bogdanovic, who was born in Serbian, is still the number two from Britain and at number 161 in the world rank, but lost in prerequisite like the way Daniel Evans and Josh Goodall did.
Yet so, possibly James Ward achieved a wildcard after accomplishing the quarter final round in Eastbourne at the beginning of this week.
