Miss Universe 2010 Jimena Navarrete Pictures
Jimena Navarrete, Miss Mexico 2010, of Guadalajara, has been crowned Miss UNIVERSE 2010, becoming the 59th MISS UNIVERSE at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, 23 August 2010.
Even though Miss Puerto Rico 2010, Mariana Morales, was the favorite, she only made it to the top ten, while Miss USA was eliminated early in the competition.
The first runner-up was Miss Jamaica Yendi Phillipps, followed by Miss Australia Jesinta Campbell, the second runner-up.
Miss Ukraine Anna Poslavska, and Miss Philippines Venus Raj only occupied the third and fourth places.
Crowned the 2010 Miss Universe, Jimena Navarrete is 22 years old, born on February 22, 1988 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. She stands at five foot eight and has gorgeous dark brown hair and eyes.
“I do believe that Internet is an indispensable, necessary tool for the present time. We must be sure to teach them the values that we learned as a family.”
Navarrete answered when asked how she felt about unsupervised Internet use.
