Latest update in Mel Gibson vs Oksana Grigorieva scandal: Mel is being ordered to surrender all the firearms he owns.
The actor reportedly held a handgun to ex-lover Oksana Grigorieva’s face when she tried to escape from his Malibu home. Now he’s been given 24 hours to turn in all of his weapons.
This comes after Oksana has posted online an audio recording of Mel Gibson acknowledging that the actor hit the mother of his 8-month daughter.
Here is the key piece of dialogue:
Oksana: What kind of a man is that? Hitting a woman when she’s holding a child in her hands? Breaking her teeth twice in the face! What kind of man is that?
Mel: Oh, you’re all angry now! You know what, you f* cking deserved it!
You need a f*cking bat in the side of the head. Alright, how about that?
Oksana: You’re gonna answer one day, boy, you’re gonna answer.
Mel:Threaten ya? I’ll put you in a f *ckin rose garden you c*nt! You understand that? Because I’m capable of it. You understand that?”
Alan Nierob, a spokesman for Gibson, declined comment on the tape.
