Paulina Porizkova – world’s sexiest model

Porizkova, who lives nearby with her hubby, Cars front man Ric Ocasek, and their two sons (12 and 16), comes weekly to hang about in shape and, perhaps, converse with music from the period when she was in the midst of the world’s reigning supermodels, seen on the cover of Vogue three times in a single year (1986) and getting a record of  $6 million agreement with Estée Lauder.

The trainer runs the class through grueling, goofy dance practices (“Walk like an Egyptian” arm moves, “Lucky Star”–type punches), challenging that they “Give me drama!” Porizkova, who, at 45 is most likely the oldest in the set but has the best figure, often looking delightfully gangly, like Audrey Hepburn in her Funny Face beatnik dance series; she also makes funny faces in the mirror at me.

Porizkova is a writer these days.

She published a roman à clef called A Model Summer. She often writes about how she feels at parties where people don’t know her, and refers to herself as a “has-been.” similar to when she ran into Anna Wintour in the ladies’ room at a current event: “ ‘Hi Anna,’ I said brightly,” Porizkova blogged.

Her big eyes flickered.
