McPherson’s legal representative Tom Hoberman, said, “It is not uncommon for high level executives to be the subject of gossip and innuendo.
That would include rumors of internal situations which can easily be misinterpreted or misrepresented. Seems like it goes with the territory, and there is nothing further to discuss.”
His resignation was an outcome to “a delicate personal nature” that ABC would not reveal.
Tom Hoberman says “ABC did not deny allegations of inappropriate conduct were involved”.
Tom informs that many complaints on harassment, linked the entertainment chief and thus the company conducted proper investigation into his conduct for three weeks which led to his resignation.
