Robin Hood to open Cannes film festival
Robin Hood, a kind of “Gladiator” in Sherwood Forest- according to the American media specialist comments, will mark the opening of the French Riviera festival.
In a year when Hollywood, marked by recession fear, relies on remakes and franchise sites popular with the public, copyright movie becomes more appreciated, state jubilant foreign chroniclers, when it comes to this year’s edition of the Festival Cannes.
Except for Robin Hood, “Will You Meet the Tall Dark Stranger”, directed by Woody Allen and “Wall Street 2″, on whose shoulders lies the task of giving something more glamorous red carpet – all outside competition – the concentration of stars per square meter will be lower than in previous years.
