Miss Universe 2010 Topless Photos cause stir

After this year’s contestants posed topless body-painted, the Parents Television Council (PTC) announced the Miss Universe pageant to have gone a step beyond a Miss USA photo shoot, which crossed the line in terms of seductive photos.

PTC spokesperson Melissa Henson claims the women looked like street-walkers.

“For the Miss Universe pageant, which is also owned by Donald Trump, they have the pageant contestants this year posing essentially topless, covered with nothing except body paint,” she said.

“So there’s no material, no fabric, no clothing covering their torsos — just body paint.”

“What we are seeing as a consequence is that girls are becoming sexually active at a very early age,” the spokesperson points out.

“They are dressing provocatively, and that has a terrible effect on the young boys that they are around. But beyond that, they are starting to perceive that they have little value beyond their sexuality – and I think that’s a very dangerous message for young girls to be getting.”

PTC is actually asking people to contact NBC and Donald Trump to forward their disapproval.
