Nolan Ryan Group Wins Auction For Texas Rangers

Ten hours after the auction began, the Officials in Federal Bankruptcy court announced the winning bidder to stand and be cheered in the courtroom.

Nolan Ryan, Hall of Fame pitcher and President of Texas Rangers, won the auction for the team early Thursday.

Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks, was beaten in the Auction by Ryan with approximately $600 higher.

The final offer that the Greenberg-Ryan group included a $385 million in cash as well as other Major League Baseball Endorsements which the final hearing will take place for Thursday.

Cuban, despite the loss, was still smiling because he and his group have decided to make another bid. Though he was able to buy the Chicago clubs last year.
