Florida election results 2010 – Florida Primary elections result
Naples businessman Rick Scott has won the GOP nomination for governor in Florida election results, victory that will put him up against Alex Sink in the coming weeks;
Scott, 57, spent almost $39 million of his own money to defeat Bill McCollum.
Initial poll reports predicted his opponent to win, but Republican Governors Association spokesman Tim Murtaugh announced the great news of Scott’s win:
“The primary is over, Rick Scott is the nominee, the general election has begun, and our party now looks forward”.
