Arizona Election Results 2010 – Updates
As the results of Arizona election have been officially announced, John McCain won his fifth term as Arizona Primary.
Senator McCain won the primary beating ex Radio host J.D. Hayworth after facing a tough challenge from conservative Tea Party supported Hayworth.
John McCain, who has never lost a statewide race, reportedly spent $21 million on his campaign to ensure the ticket to the general election.
“This was a tough, hard-fought primary,” McCain said in his victory speech. “I promise you, I take nothing for granted and will fight with every ounce of strength and conviction I possess to make the case for my continued service in the Senate.”
On the other hand, Republican millionaire Rick Scott also won over Attorney General Bill McCollum in Florida elections. Jeff Greene, the real estate billionaire lost his millions failing to defeat Rep. Kendrick Meek for Democratic primary.
