2010 Florida Election Results and Updates
As the election results for the 2010 Florida primary elections are officially confirmed, Representative Kendrick Meek, has won the primary over the businessman Jeff Greene, who used a gigantic ad budget.
Meek won Florida’s Democratic U.S. Senate primary on Tuesday and is to face Governor Charlie Crist and conservative Republican Marco Rubio in November election.
On the other side, Florida’s Republican primary, Rick Scott beat Attorney General Bill McCollum, after edging out former U.S. congressman McCollum by 46 percent to 43 percent.
He will now face Florida’s chief financial officer, Alex Sink.
