Joe Miller leads in Alaska GOP primary
Still more votes to go in Alaska, but Joe Miller, Alaska candidate endorsed by Sarah Palin, seems to be the Republican candidate for Senator.
Sarah Palin first helped and endorsed the candidate in June, when she posted a comment on Facebook supporting Joe Miller.
He quickly gained strength over the following months, proving that Palin still has a lot of influence in Alaska.
On Twitter, Palin called it a potential “miracle on ice.”
“Keeping fingers crossed, powder dry, prayers upward,” she wrote online.
The official count is awaited, but things don’t look good for Lisa Murkowski.

There are still votes needed to be counted in Alaska, but it seems that Joe Miller, Alaska candidate endorsed by Sarah Palin, will be the Republican candidate for Senator. On the other hand this might be a hurting loss for incumbent Sen. Lisa Murkowski.
